The 1st City Expo Malaysia (CEM) Forum aims to bring together experts, practitioners, scholars and researchers from the industry and academia to exchange and share their experiences, new ideas and research results on all aspects of built environment. This 5-day forum also provides a premier interdisciplinary platform for the industry players and researchers to present and discuss the most recent innovations, trends, concerns, and practical challenges encountered, and solutions adopted. As part of celebrating the 100-Years of Town Planning in Malaysia, this virtual forum is the place to broaden your horizon on diversified topics pertinent to built environment.

Prospective presenters are kindly encouraged to contribute to and help shape the forum through submissions of their event or research abstracts and papers. The authors of all accepted papers are cordially invited for virtual presentation that is pre-recorded for viewing on the forum day. The date and slot of viewing for the affected papers will be announced later. The forum solicits contributions of abstracts and papers that address the themes and topics of the conference, including figures, tables and references of novel research materials.

PRESENTATION FORMAT

1. Authors are invited to submit abstract and papers through the submission system at www.cityexpomalaysia.com
2. Submission must be of the author’s original work and should not have been published previously or under consideration for publication while being evaluated for the forum e-proceeding OR e-book.
3. Please download and use the template provided on the website.
4. Participant must submit a 30-minute video presentation in MPEG4 / MOV format before 15 Oct 2021. The submission platform is on the forum official website.

PUBLICATION

All submitted forum papers will be peer reviewed by our reviewers. The accepted papers will be published either in the forum e-book (ISBN) or e-proceeding (ISBN) depending on the recommendation of the reviewer panel.
